Introducing Inca 6 for The Museum of Liverpool

ClickNetherfield are pleased to announce the implementation of our newest member of the Inca family, Inca 6 as the default product from our Inca range. Previously this design has only been offered as a premium product. Featuring state-of-the-art surface-bonded technology, this case design is breathtakingly beautiful.

Our fabulous Inca 6 cases showcasing the infamous Beatles. The Museum of Liverpool – completed in July – is the first major project we’ve undertaken using entirely Inca 6, and we are now proud to be able to offer this superior product to all of our clients as our default Inca design at no additional cost.

We believe that our Inca 6 will bring about a fresh and contemporary edge to any exhibition, with its stunning all-glass façade and fabulous design aesthetic.

It really is a special product which no image can truly do justice, and we are looking forward to producing more of them and getting them out into the world’s museums and galleries.

The eagerly awaited £72 million Museum of Liverpool opened to the in July of this year.  The 8,000 square metre building is the largest purpose-built museum in Britain for more than a century, and expects to attract a whopping 750,000 visitors every year.

Ken Dodd gives his seal of approval to our Inca 6.The museum aims to reflect the city’s global significance through its unique geography, history and culture.  Visitors can explore how the port, its people, their creativity and sporting history have shaped the city.

ClickNetherfield worked alongside exhibition designers, Haley Sharpe and Redman Design; fit-out contractors, Patton Heritage; and exhibition walling contractors, Protean on The Museum of Liverpool Project, designing  and manufacturing a total of 114 cases for the initial 2 phases, with a further 59 cases underway for phase 3 which is set to open in November.

Among its 6,000 artefacts are Ken Dodd’s tickling sticks and the skeleton of the 1900 Grand National winner.

Other exhibits include the school-hall stage on which John Lennon and Paul McCartney first played, the Brookside Close street sign from the television soap and items dating back to the ice age.

The museum was officially opened by local school boy, Finn O’Hare and throughout the day was visited by a record-breaking 12,000 guests.

The evening ceremony was attended by some of Liverpool’s most famous faces, including Yoko Ono, John Conteh, Claire Sweeney and Ken Dodd – who we managed to snap admiring one of our cases!
