We are delighted to announce that the voting form is now live for the 2012 M&H Readers' Award, which will be one of 11 awards presented at the prestigious Museums & Heritage Awards for Excellence in London on 16th May.  Vote for your own favourite or encourage your stakeholders, funders, volunteers and visitors to put their weight behind your museum or heritage visitor attraction. 

The organisation with the most individual votes (please note that this will be judged on unique email addresses) will have the honour of being presented with the only industry-nominated award:  a huge vote confidence from the sector and a great boost to confidence, morale and bids for funding!

As Diane Lees, Director General of Imperial War Museums, and a member of the judging panel for the Museums & Heritage Awards for Excellence says: “The M&H awards is the only scheme which recognises the breadth of scope and scale of operation in museums across the globe.

"In times of budget cuts they inspire museums and their partner providers to continue to achieve great things and recognise the success of their efforts. They also raise the profile of the participants with their stakeholders which is also critical during times of difficulty.”
