Scientists at Nottingham Trent University have been invited by Historic Royal Palaces to use hi-tech equipment to examine the 14th century Byward Tower wall painting.

Work is nearing completion on the conservation of the historic White Tower in London.

With some very creative thinking and the support of world famous designers and community groups, the palace has become one of the year's must-see visitor attractions.
